JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA – As in years past, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome will be holding a massive New Year’s Eve rally in front of a crowd of tens of thousands.  This year’s rally will be held in Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg – an arena capable of holding a crowd of up to 36,000.  The December 31st service will run from dusk to dawn, and will also be broadcast worldwide to an audience of millions, via radio, the Internet, and Pastor Chris’s LoveWorldTV satellite television network.

An important facet of the event is that – again, as in years past – Pastor Chris and Christ Embassy will be distributing the Future African Leaders Awards (FALA).  These are an important set of awards, designed to honor the extraordinary achievements of the young people of Africa.

The Future African Leaders Awards distribute both scholarships and grants to further the lives of young men and women who have already accomplished incredible deeds – deeds such as feeding and housing the homeless, spreading the Gospel to remote areas, and providing career and health services to the poor and afflicted.

Past winners have gone on to accomplish even greater things – including speaking in front of the United Nations, winning major artistic awards, and providing mentorship to the future leaders of tomorrow.

As you can see, the Future African Leaders Awards and the December 31st service is an incredibly important event, all sponsored for free by our own Pastor Chris Oyakhilome.  Should you wish to assist FALA in improving the lives of youths across the continent of Africa, you can contact them can contact them at info@futureafricaleadersawards.org, or by calling directly to +234 8093 595 868.
